Support

Two routes, and which one to use. Anything about your account, your credits or a render that went wrong is email. Anything about the WordPress plugin that other people might hit too belongs in the plugin's forum, where the answer stays findable.

The WordPress plugin

The plugin is listed in the WordPress plugin directory as VideoFunker, and it has a support forum there:

wordpress.org/support/plugin/videofunker

Post there for anything reproducible in the plugin itself: a connection that will not complete, a video that does not arrive in the Media Library, an error message you can repeat. The thread is public, so the next person with the same problem finds the answer rather than asking again.

A report we can act on has four things in it, and most reports have two:

  • The plugin version (shown on the Plugins screen, next to VideoFunker), and the WordPress version you are on.
  • The exact error text, copied rather than described. “It failed” and “that connection could not be completed” are different bugs.
  • Whether the video exists in your VideoFunker account at videofunker.ai. This one separates the two halves of the system: if the video is there and the plugin cannot fetch it, the problem is on the WordPress side and we look in a different place than if it never rendered.
  • Whether it happens on every video or one, and whether you changed the API host or reconnected recently.

Account, credits and billing

Email team@videofunker.ai. That address reaches the people who run the product, and it is the right one for a render that failed, a balance you do not recognise, a licence question, or anything involving a payment.

Email is answered within 24 hours on working days. If you have not heard back by then, send it again rather than assuming the answer was no; filters eat more support mail than anyone admits.

Questions the plugin already answers

Where do my videos go? Into your WordPress Media Library, as ordinary attachments, and they are listed on the plugin's own screen as well. They are not tied to a post: insert one anywhere with the normal video block.

What happens if I delete the plugin? The videos stay in your Media Library. Deleting a plugin is not consent to delete your media, so it removes only the plugin's own records and its connection to the account.

How is a video billed? The plugin shows the price before you confirm, and nothing is charged until you do; the price comes from your own account, so it is the same number you would see in the product. A quick video is billed as a Studio render from your credit balance rather than from a subscription allowance. If a render fails, the credits are refunded automatically.

Why did connecting disconnect me? A connection belongs to one API host. Switching between the production and staging hosts on the plugin screen revokes the old one on purpose, because a token issued by one host means nothing on the other.

Reporting a security issue

Email team@videofunker.ai with “security” in the subject rather than posting it publicly, and give us a chance to ship a fix before it is described anywhere else. We will tell you what we found and when the fix is released.
